Today feels like winter. We’re having our first big snow and local schools had their first snow day today. Knowing fall is complete, I reflect on the ended season. One of the highlights of the fall for our family was the grand opening of our local bookstore. This grand opening was one which I personally helped plan.
Our local public library has spent the last two years historically renovating the barn on the property. A carriage barn, turned book storage for the Friends of the Library’s annual book sale, the barn will now be open on weekends as a store. It’s a historic gem full of like-new books. I feel blessed to be able to volunteer alongside the other Friends in Carriage Barn Books.
